Best njoi release by miles. live in a studio in manchester though me thinks
Yeah it's clearly recorded in the studio. The "live" part is the crowd, who they played the mix to.Every rave band did this back then. You can't recreate every part live, unless you're Jean-Michel Jarre with 5 professional synth wizard mates in tow lol.Just pop the CD / DAT in the player and shout over the top.
About 15 years ago I interviewed Mark Ruff Ryder who told me Joey Negro was in N-Joi unofficially. I didn't really believe him but listening to the first track on Side B thats 100 percent Dave Lee.

I Don't' Believe That For One Minute Why As This Never Come To Light Before You Interviewed Mr Ryder If He Was He Would Want Some Type Of Loyalty Payment For The Track I'm Shore, He's Into Programming Of Keyboards And Using Them, He Might Have Showed The Guys How To Used A Particular Keyboard Or Something Like That I Would Say, But Not In The Band Or Even Unofficially i Would Say !Mr Negro Was In M-D-Emm Ryder Hence The Name Mark Ryder, Dave Lee and Emmanuel Cheal, Before They Split Up In 1990 Was It ?Mark Ryder Might Have Been A Unofficial Member As He Produced Most Of The Bands Early Work,
This 12 / LP /EP was recorded/mixed in a studio . All the background crowd effects were samples . .
Like To See Were They Got The Samples From For The Record Then ?
Yes recorded and then played out to the live audience.
