Letter to Sounds Magazine (review editor)
This EP was recorded Jan & Feb 1985 in Sydney on 8 track as Roseue. Due to delays in pressing it wasn't released till Nov... The same delays are holding up a debut L.P. 'Inland Sea' which probably won't come out till Oct. this year (if we're lucky) Rob Irwin & Ross Doug Douglas (bass player & singer guitarist) are currently in Ireland, and will probably be playing there under 'Strawman" (if possible). The group will either reform in Britain / Ireland or will reform in Australia around Sept. / Oct. Band comes from various areas - James born Nigeria, grew up in Young, N.S.W. / Rob and Andy from Sydney, Ross from Darwin, Northern Tettitory. Band formed late '83... joined by Andy Jones (ex- Young Doctors) for 4 months '84-'85 "When Every Walls A Woman" is about a bloke holding a lady hostage - gives up gets swing in clink, wanking to sleep and 'Every Walls.... " etc. No mysogynous st intended OK?
